In 2015, the company’s focus was on empowering secondary schools with ICT Lab upgrade and internet capacity by leveraging our broadband infrastructure within the technology and education cluster in Yaba and environs.
Herbert Macaulay Girls’ Senior High School was selected as the beneficiary for MainOne’s CSR project, as it met all requirements set. The upgrade, which is an outlet of the company’s “MainOne Connects” Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, on education and technology, had a handover ceremony at the school premises on Tuesday, October 27, 2015. The donation to the school included a 2Mbps Wi-Fi Internet facility, 7 desktop computers, 7 UPS power back up, and repainting of the ICT room.
