We are pleased to report progress on the construction of our Data Center project in Appolonia City, Accra, Ghana where we officially broke ground in May 2020.
Leading MEP and EPC contractors, Sterling & Wilson are handling the modular mechanical and electrical units which are nearing readiness for Factory Acceptance, while a team of local partners led by Incept Architectural Consults (IAC) are delivering the civil, structural, construction and site works.
We are excited about the construction progress we have made towards completion of the new office building and data center, despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 Pandemic. Already, the following milestones have been achieved:
- Main building foundation and modular unit platforms completed.
- Manufacturing of the Data Center prefabricated module completed and ready for Factory Acceptance test.
- Super structure works of main building ongoing and deck completed.
With construction well underway, we are well positioned to deliver a Tier III, world-class, data center to service the needs of enterprises and institutions in Ghana and even neighboring countries.
