MainOne urges harnessing broadband penetration in West Africa on CNBC Africa

MainOne’s Regional Executive for West Africa, Kazeem Oladepo was interviewed on CNBC Africa’s programme “Beyond Markets”, where he spoke on the broadband landscape across West Africa. This interview provided Kazeem the opportunity to shed light on the challenges of internet penetration, and the urgent solutions required to deepen access, including policy, infrastructure and content. He also highlighted MainOne’s contributions in achieving regional access, especially as it recently concluded its Nigeria-Cameroun Submarine Cable System, a milestone development which provides up to 12.8Tbps capacity to Cameroun and is expected to address increasing demand for reliable broadband connectivity in Cameroun.
